History: Born to mortal parents, Nedd was orphaned at a young age, and placed in the care of her Owain and Margaret Starling, who were her biological predecessors on her fathers side.
By necessity, Nedd's introduction to magic came well before her own talents began to manifest, though in her case that occurred earlier than what is typical as well. Nedd's natural intelligence served to augment her otherwise average talent with magic, allowing her to perform spells and rituals far beyond the what someone of her magical strength could do.
When Nedd's instructor, Wizard Peabody was revealed to be a traitor to the Council, and subsequently killed, Nedd was appointed as the new Clerk to the White Council.
After being rescued from a Red Court kidnapping, Nedd chose to remain in Chicago with the Council allies in an attempt to help out on the local front. A recent turn of events saw her unexpectedly chosen for the mantle of Winter Lady.
